Trachisan®
Trachisan is a combined 3-component preparation for effective treatment of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, has a wide range of antibacterial activity and a rapid analgesic (pain relieving) effect, is approved for use in both adults and children from 6 years of age.
ANTIBACTERIAL PROPERTY.
Trachisan neutralizes bacteria that cause infectious and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx, thanks to the substance tyrotricin. Tyrotricin is a topical antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity. It is not absorbed into the blood and does not have a negative systemic effect on the whole body, and, due to the special mechanism of action habituation (resistance) of microorganisms to tyrotricin does not develop.
ANTISEPTIC PROPERTY.
Trachisan relieves inflammation in the throat, thanks to the antiseptic chlorhexidine. Chlorhexidine is an antiseptic with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action against Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. The combination of tyrotricin and chlorhexidine significantly expands the spectrum of action of the drug on pathogens.
ANALGESIC PROPERTY.
Trachisan eliminates sore throat due to lidocaine. Lidocaine is one of the most widely used and safe local anesthetics, which acts only on the inflamed area and helps to quickly eliminate pain and discomfort in the throat.
Due to the combination of active components Trachisan has a 3-directional action: it affects the main causative agents of inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx through antibacterial and antiseptic action, and thanks to lidocaine has a rapid analgesic effect.
